Yoga For Runners- Oxygen Yoga Airdrie

Join yoga teacher Jennifer in exploring the key muscles of running, and beneficial postures for building strength and flexibility over time. Elements of Pranayama (breathework), and learning to cultivate a positive mindset will also be included so you can experience first hand how the addition of a consistent yoga practise to a cross training routine can create a healthy mind/body connection. .
A strong, flexible body can decrease risk of running related injury, wear and tear on muscles and joints, may assist the healing process, and allow for a lifelong enjoyment of running with ease and fluidity.
We will complete the afternoon with a special practise sequenced especially for runners, and ending with a short meditation to get you in the mindset of conquering your running goals whether you are just starting out, or a seasoned veteran!
